Position Summary - The ideal candidate will implement and execute compensation and benefits analysis for GFG globally. The candidate will have excellent analytical and data skills and will support global head of reward with the salary program design, incentive plan design, policies and benefits, job evaluations and harmonization of career paths & grading across GFG businesses worldwide to meet organization objectives and needs.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Support global head of reward with total reward strategy and implementation of the compensation & benefits programs worldwide
  • Analyze costs and competitive trends in cash compensation and benefits programs and identifies the organization's position through gap to market analysis
  • Collect the data from our global offices and participate in comp surveys.
  • Oversee administration of programs and maintenance of required records.
  • Analyze costs, advise on trends and ensure the necessary solution implementation under the supervision of the manager
  • Write and co-ordinate job description, grade jobs and recommend job evaluation scores or salary grades where necessary
  • Assist in the job evaluation process, such as interview job incumbents and/or supervisors of middle management level to gather information for the analysis and evaluation of jobs.
  • Research, analyze, and develop modifications to compensation programs
  • Monitor competitive trends in compensation in different regions
  • Constant communication with external consultants and 3rd party data providers

Experience & Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in HR, Business or Management disciplines
  • 3-4 years of previous experience in Total Reward or Comp & Ben team, preferably in a large multinational (Manufacturing, FMCG, Mine/Steel or associated industry) or consulting firm
  • Strong Research Skills
  • Job evaluation experience using Aon, Hay, Mercer or WTW grading methodologies
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize and interpret data and highlight inconsistencies
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong team worker
  • Personal organization skills and meeting short-term deadlines is a must
  • End-to-end project management skills
